Hi,
Thought it only right to say hello from the UK.
I have a 2016 Crosstourer which I bought from new.
I toured the alps a few years ago & I’m off to Poland in July with 8 others.

As WHACK's last reply was 2020, I would probably guess, he is an ex honda owner!

Hi Wack, how old is the bike, did you buy it new, which dealer, registration number etc - if you can let me have the above along with your details and any supporting correspondence you may have from reporting the issues etc to Honda under warranty I'll have a quiet word with head of Honda (motorcycles) UK who may be able to assist / suggest how to get a resolution. Feel free to PM me the details - the more the better. Cheers, Paul.

Thanks. The liquimol stuff is a typical light yellow. I had assumed a dealer would have used the specified SAE80 though. There were quite a few black deposits, not metallic though.

This colour is typical for fresh Motul Gearbox 80W90

New to CT and shaft drive bikes. Bike has full dealer service history. But as people mentioned small cost to change the final drive oil, I bought LiquiMoly 80W hypoid GL5 to do the job.

Interesting colour gear oil for a 4 year old bike. For those keen eyes there is more than 200ml because I pushed some oil through to flush it a bit. Quick and satisfying task.

Does a break light illuminate when something's broken?  :027:

If the LEDs work on 9v and don't attempt to draw more current than the indicator relay thingy can deal with, then there's no problem.

I've had the intermittent problem from new, adjusted the gear shift to suit me, my boots etc etc multiple times. Still does it ! And now it appears to have damaged fourth gear permanently !
