Honda VFR1200x Knuckle Guard Adaptation (from BMW GS1250)

Hi all, my bike doesn't have any accessories, i bought it completely naked. In my opinion, one of the most important accessories is the knuckle guard. I like the knuckle guard style of the BMW GS1250 more than the original Crosstourer. So I decided to adapt it to my Crosstourer.

    (Crosstourer's Honda numbers are 53180-MGH-640 and 53185-MGH-640)

I will try to explain it with a few pictures, maybe some friends would like to do the same.

My need for a lathe grows every time you post lol. I used R1150/R1200 hand guards on my bike. Kept my set when I sold my R1150R. The large end fits to the bar end just like the OEM hand guards. The handle bar connection is a little tricky, so they have just been zip tied to the cables. I am worried what will happen if I drop it. I may have to get a set of R1250 guards since you can get knock offs for around $30.
