Hello from Dublin, Ireland
« on: April 15, 2012, 12:55:17 PM »
One expectant Irish dude here. Latest delivery date is May 1st for my black, DCT version. No mods decided upon yet but based on posts will likely go for higher screen at least (being 6 foot tall). Having great fun investigating luggage options - hard? soft? Honda or other. Any thoughts on Honda's option would be appreciated.

Biking History: Daily user---my new bike will be my ninth since 1974 and have tried Yamaha (50, 100 twin, SRX600),  Triumph (350), Suzuki (GT500), Honda (CB650), Kawasaki (750GT), BMW (R1100RT, K1200LT).

I am finding the days to May 1 very veeerrryyyy sloooow. Reading posts from people taking delivery is both a joy and a source of major jealousy.

Wishing you all well.

Hi Scannan, also welcome from a newbie like myself. Waiting is awful. I know ! :151:

Nice to read you switched from BMW. I made that 'mistake' once too. Never again. Had a R1150 GS. Had to go to the dealer-garage on and on. Only technical problems  :230: Never a BMW for me again !

So keep on smiling, only a few nights waiting...  :002:
