Morning all from sunny Scotland 🌞 recently purchased my vfr1200x and immediately found the suspension to be awful ! Read up and had the suspension set up by a racing tech guy the other day, huge difference but still a bit rocking horsey on some roads.
Then there's the super sensitive throttle to get used to but all in seems a nice bike, the comfort seat isn't that comfy though. 🤔

    Welcome LuckyLad to the forum.
A few adjustments and you'll have her to your liking.
    Cheers

Welcome from slightly soggy Wales, Luckylad. Someone will chime in shortly who's in England and you'll have the full set.  :038:

I'd be interested to know what the suspension settings are on your CT after your tech's handiwork (number of clicks left to max on rebound screw, number of grooves visible on spring preload, etc etc).

    Welcome Lucklad.

There are a couple of really useful posts on the service/technical area of the forum about the best setting for front and rear suspension - I followed these and made a great difference. I've also had rising rate fork springs added which also makes a vats improvement to the front end.

The seat I had remodelled by Sussex Motorcycles to add memory foam in place of the Honda stuff - transformational!

I agree that the throttle takes some getting used to and it does always appears even more sensitive when the bike is first ridden from cold, or maybe that's just me needing to remember it's totally different from my 1995 VFR750.

    Cheers

    Welcome!!!

I am using a Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer ( https://kaoko.com/ ) to make the throttle less sensitive.
Besides that this is also an poor mans cruise control.  :038:

Are the Kaoko easy to fit with the standard hand guards in place?

If your looking for a KAOKO Throttle Stabiliser and your bike is the later version, then I have an un used one, that I bought by mistake, up for sale.
