Trying to survey the land in your pics in replys #5 & #14
I assume that the frontage that goes with your property is in #5

Is there not enough room if you removed the conifer to put some paving under the window.
I can't see a landlord complaining too much as it's not a permanent fixture.

Or something like this with chippings or turf in it.
    https://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-ground-grab-tiles-402mm-x-402mm-x-55mm-20-pack/55689

    Again, it's not permanent.
If they complain you just promise to put it right when you leave.

I don't know how many sheds mad-dawg has, but I could do with just one!  :003:

Good ideas DE65Y. I'm not actually supposed to have a vehicle on the path/front area at all, and didn't want to draw attention to the fact that I have a bike on the path, but I've got away with it for 22 months so maybe some quiet paving will go unnoticed too.

Maybe there are no such winds in here, but it's quite some solution - a budget one a least... (additional straps to avoid parachuting)

I'd probably need four or more bungee cords to eliminate all ballooning of the cover. A bit inconvenient but do-able.

My mirrors have arrived, have now discovered that the knuckle guard mounting bracket on the brake lever is also smashed (I patched it up with JB Weld last time but I doubt it will work again). Bit the bullet and ordered a new one.

Hi Hound, looks like this company on fleabay may be breaking a CT, looking at the various parts they are selling. Is it worth asking them to see if they have any other bits you need?

Thanks for the suggestion D, I'll drop them a line.  :028: It so happens that I bought stuff from MotorcycleRecycle only last week (a spare side stand switch for my ST1300) which looks brand new. Previously I bought other items from them in similarly tidy condition, so I am already a fan.
