Tankbag
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:30:12 PM »
Just mounted my tankbag. It's a "GS" (what stupid name a  :745: ) from SW-Motech. Fits quite nicely i thought. It's the one with the tankring, easy to mount and remove with a "click".

That's the one I've got my eye on - is it the one with the normal or electric tank ring :261:
What's it like when you are riding - it looks big :261:

I just tried it out and it fits me well, not too big. There is a smaller one available but that would not suit my needs. One other thing is it does not scratch the paint on the tank as the bag is fully sitting on the tank ring.

Is it waterproof or does it come this a rain cover :261:

I think I'll go and look at one to see if it will suit me too.

I like the 660. I'm going to mount my 550 in the middle.

Comes with rain cover, and i have the normal tankring not the electric one. Have had Zumo660 for around two years now, pretty good.

That's a great angle - now I can see that it isn't too big.  :062:

I'll go and look at the tank bag - looks like it could be the right one for me too.
I've got the 550 with lifetime updates, so it'll be on the bike as long as it continues to work. Going to use the SW-Motech mount to fit it to the middle of the bars.
Are the bars 28mm diameter in the middle :261:
