I did a fork swap between to buell motorcycles.
As the length between the two forks were differents, I had to buy some spacers.
As the X fork seems to be wider, wouldn't it be possible to juste put some spacers?
As I understand, the only othe option is to change the fork assemble on the handle side...

You have that the wrong way around. The X forks are narrower at 204mm compared to the F at 214mm

It is not always just a question of spacing the forks correctly with axle and spacers. Discs and calipers need to align close enough to fit, and of course work 100%. This can be easily achieved with some swaps, but can be hard to impossible with others. Radial calipers are more problematic in this respect as they are rigidly fixed to the fork and this offset between fork centre and caliper centre (i.e. disc slot) cannot be changed. I cannot imagine any sort of modification of the parts that would be able to change that.

In which case, moving forks closer together or wider apart means the discs have to move by the same amount. They can relatively easily be spaced wider on the wheel, but reducing their spacing is not so easy. An actual disc offset cannot be changed, but possibly different discs with different offsets can be found. Not in this case however.

Wheels can be machined narrower and calipers can be offset over the disc, but in both cases, how much is very limited.

So yes, it all would be possible with modifications to those lower components, or with custom yokes, neither of which seems to have been done. The explanation provided by Josemar69 was simply to swap the fork bottoms. No mention of any other mod and indeed I can see no evidence of any.

If no such mods have been performed, then forks at 214mm have been bolted in to 204mm yokes. As I have said, this is certainly possible, but with the forks being bent in that way, they will be very, very stiff. Almost solid I suspect, but having never performed such a bodge, I cannot say from direct experience. Suffice to say, it is a very bad idea.

So mod F parts, change X yokes or bodge. Everyone can make their own decision as to what has been done here.

A simpler way would be to swap these two parts :

But it would involve to drill some holes in the F part to add handling risers

And the lower yoke presumably, with steering stem. Assuming that's compatible with CT frame, bearings etc. All too much for me.

As I said previously, 214mm yokes would be one answer as I do believe there is space around the forks to accommodate the wider yokes without fouling the fairing.

The F yokes are the obvious ones to look at. However, Josemar69 has definitely not used the F bottom yoke as what can be seen in the photos is shaped like the X and not the F yoke as they are shaped differently.

Then there is the matter of offset. The X uses a much larger offset than the F, as can be seen in the photos above. So using F yokes would increase the trail by a not insignificant amount. That would affect handling and probably not in a good way.

The clincher is that the X is unusual with the ignition switch not being central, which it is on almost every other Honda including the F. So quite impractical to try and use the F yoke on the X.

Besides which, Josemar69's photos show what is pretty definitely an X top yoke.

So to keep the steering geometry correct and the ignition switch in the right place and at 214mm spacing, it's probably going to be custom yokes. Can be done, but for sure, Josemar69's bike don't have 'em.

    This yoke could be better

Still the wrong offset though, resulting in higher trail.

Yes, another thing is the shape of yoke..., 1200X has a "V" yoke
