    Honda factory service manual

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me.

I recently bought my first Crosstourer 1200 which has a DCT gearbox.
I've always done most of the work on my bikes including the bigger servicing and maintenance /renewals but that's been with the aid of a manufacturers factory service manual.

I've looked in this forum but whilst it may be that I'm not looking and reading the right posts I can't seem to find the info needed to source one. I must admit that I do prefer the hard copy printed version but I'm willing to relent and go electronic.
Im hopthat someone can give me a part number that matches the Honda official manual
I've already had a conversation with Fowlers and they can only get me a 2014 edition so I'm hoping that there's one that matches my 2017 bike although I guess a lot of the parts, torque settings will be the same. Does anyone know if this is the case as I can get one from them.

    Thanks for reading.

The manual will be fine. There's very little difference between the models, just things like the screen, auto cancelling indicators, slimmer seat, staged TC etc ....

Thanks a lot for that bit of advice and knowledge there Beer Belly.... much appreciated. It sounds as though the things like swing arm, brakes and so on are the same as will be the all important torque settings.
I'll go for the 2014 version then.

Thanks to all for the help - you might have to wait until I've found my way around the bike before I'll be able to return the compliment but don't hold your breath as I'm a slow learner  :071:

They are easy enough to work on, plugs are a bit of a hassle and I havent had to check valves yet but more often than not they are in spec. Exhausts don't need the cam out as they can be adjusted via lock nut on the unicam rocker arms. Mechanically tough machines with proper servicing and not too much fancy electrics to go wrong. Best thing I can advise is to change the fluid regularly old fluid can cause issues with the abs and results in locked brakes!

Thanks again for this extra info which is invaluable to me.
One of the reasons I liked the model was that it lacked unnecessary electronics and that it was a Honda and the longevity and reliability that goes hand in hand with that.
I've noted the advice about changing the brake fluid regularly - that's useful to know particularly if it prevents brake lock up!

Thanks again for all the info. 👍

Thanks for flagging this up for me - very much appreciated. Unfortunately due to being in late from work with a flat phone I was too late  :161:

Thanks to everyone who has helped me find a set of service manuals for my bike.
I'm pleased to say that due to fellow members keeping an eye open for posts advertising manuals for sale I've just managed to buy some.

I really appreciate all the help and friendliness given from one and all. I hope I can do something similar for you or someone else in the future.

    Cheers 👍
