    Saying Hi.

Just a short note to say hello to all as I'm a new member here.
    I recently bought a 2017 Crosstourer 1200x DCT.
Before that I was riding a Yamaha FJR 1300 which I have to say I loved and which I owned for a good few years. Unfortunately due to a problem with my left foot I decided that I needed to swop my bike and having had my eye on the Crosstourer for a couple of years I decided to start looking for one.
Eventually I found one that I liked and could afford and was in good condition. The milage was 28000 but that didn't really faze me as I know how well made and reliable they are (generally!) and I intend to do most of the maintenance on it. I usually do most of what needs to be done but have always tried to get hold of a factory service manual.
So far I've drawn a blank with that but I'm sure someone will respond to my question as to where to source one when I put my question in the servicing and maintenance section on the forum.
Here's to many miles and years of owning my Crosstourer. Cheers.

Mind, I did used to work in Bishop, but that was along time ago!

Try David Silvers or Fowlers for the manual, I've bought them from there before.

I know Bishop well enough although I'm over near the coast and north of Peterlee.

Thanks Beer Belly, I'll give David Silvers a call tomorrow. I did speak to Fowlers (I've dealt with them before and they're very helpful) and they said that the latest version they could find is 2014. I imagine a lot of the manual will apply to newer bikes too and that perhaps the only differences might be in the electronics which is something I generally keep well away from!
