Brand new (5 year old) '17 DCT from a local dealer is now mine! Nice to meet you all. Am coming off many years or many different motos; looking forward to some nice tours on this one.

    Welcome.

    1.  Change the brake fluid immediately before the bike tries to kill you.
    2.  Follow up on your license plate issuance.  That dealership does business under three or four names and the OR DMV gets confused.

Tom, they surface in the UK occasionally too (and that's a lot closer to you than Oregon).

For example, this is a 2019 with 0 miles.

Good points, both of those. I was hoping I could get to my first break-in oil change and do the brake flush then, too.... or am I pushing it?

I didn't love supporting this dealer; what a shtshow. But, that brand new bike feeling was too strong.
