I finally got the luggage sorted with this bike. I'm pretty sensitive to weight distribution when I ride and I don't like stuff bolted to the bike. I don't feel these at all and they are extremely lightweight but very high quality. They are listed as WL900 and WL901 and they clip to the standard Monokey rack. I pack pretty light for extended trips so this will be perfect for my needs without adversely affecting handling. They look pretty good too. If you travel 2up and are a heavy packer then these may not be for you.

They look really great, Dave, and suit the bike well IMO. I can see you've done very similar protection mods to your bike as I have to mine i.e. fender extender, bobbins, engine guard, side stand 'foot', boot guards etc. What make are those black side engine guards please...haven't seen those before? Same question regarding your under-engine guard...what make is that? I like it because it gives much better (higher) protection to the front of the engine. I've fitted an SW motech, which is good but not as good as yours.
Cheers....from another Dave in the UK!

Hey Dave in the UK, thanks, the belly pan is Hepco Becker. Although this specific bike does not go off-road, I put them on all my road bikes since a brick from a pickup took out an engine case on a different bike back in the 90s. The side case protectors are for the F model made by T Rex racing out of texas. They are pretty beefy and I suspect if the time ever comes, they will do their job.
    Ride safe!

I've just looked up those side engine guards on the T Rex Racing website...they are a good price at $139 for both sides with free shipping in the US. However the cheapest postal charge to the UK is $85 ! :006: :003:

That's nuts, they come in a small box. I paid that to have my luggage shipped over from Spain and still save over 100.00 over buying local, in a big box.

I've just emailed them to ask if that really is their cheapest postage to the UK for that item.
