DCT ... left hand rear brake?

So my DCT Crosstourer is causing me to doubt its purchase due to this  issue , First let me begin by saying I have very limited movement in my left foot hence going for the DCT,  I did  test tride one before i pulled the trigger and the Af twin but loved the grunt of the 1200.
My one downfall is slow speed control with not being able to put my left foot down tiptoe style  in a emergency  balance wise and the weight of  the bike especially two  up.
So my  question is, has anyone fitted a left hand rear brake on their dct I think that  would help more with the slow speed manovering and balance I've seen it done on a Af twin but the parking brake is different to our setup unless  the AF twin one fits?

    Any suggestions would be welcome

Found this. Courtesy of gstwins.com, thumb lever rear brake mounted on the fork tube. Not sure of the make but it’s an interesting installation that could get round moving bits on the bars?

https://www.speedycom.co.uk/speedycom-thumb-brake.html Not cheap but if it helps you enjoy the bike and feel safe.

    Hopefully it’s free delivery!

Borrowed from ducati forum (I was quick, they didn’t notice) some clever people are making their own.

What we need is a machinist who’s bored and up for a challenge  :001:

Hi . I bought and fitted Mad Dawgs kit. Easy mod . It's brilliant for slow work, steep turns and similar . Transformed the dct.  I also kept tge existing handbrake lever by moving it down the handlebars. The mod also doesn't interfere with tge existing brake setup and could be easily removed .
