    Hi

Who makes the best rear hugger? ( just cleaning all the hard to reach parts over the winter )

Some look they are made so short they are not worth fitting!

R&G. Powerbronze. Pyramid. Puig. GP. Ernax.

    Thanks

I do have Pyramid one, also I bought rear mud flap from Pyramid as well.
Rating this set up for 7 out of 10, as still loads of grim sits around.
If Pyramid could make their hugger few inches longer and bit higher probably it would work way better in my opinion.

i got a powerbronze hugger and duck tail but thats about the most you can do.The VFR is a dirty rear end bike - short of fitting a triumph "bath tub" type of bodywork its not possible to make it something its not.
At least we dont have a chain to clean!

I'm in the middle of fitting a Powerbronze hugger as I was fed up of the useless Pyramid one I've had on since 2017.

But I was out today with the panniers in place and they make a big difference to the muck thrown up over the rear.

My mistake, I do have Powerbronze hugger and mud flap not Pyramid.

As an update on my comments above, I've now got the Powerbronze hugger in place.  I am well impressed!  However, the Powerbronze hugger does not extend downwards as my old Pyramid one did, to keep muck off the suspension parts.  So I cut up the Pyramid and fitted the lower half in its original position to get the protection, and mounted the Powerbronze one as normal.   I'm delighted with the result.  The PB one is so neat and effective.
