Hi, I've just bought a single sided paddock stand for my 2012 12 plate DCT and this may seem like a stupid question to most people. Could anyone tell or show me how to remove the big blanking plate on the hub centre shaft side? the other side of the hub's blanking plate pops out fine. thanks in advance, stay safe and seasons greetings to ALL.

    Regards
    Geoff

If you remove it you'll find a final gear behind it, if you were planning to pass a stand through it you are about to be disappointed I'm afraid. Time to buy a centre stand! I use an ABBA stand with Vfr1200f  adaptors but you have to shove an inch thick board underneath so the rear tyre clears the deck.https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5843158/vfr1200x/final-driven-gear

Cheers Beer Belly, I thought my CT would take a single sided paddock stand or a centre stand. looks like I need a centre stand then. Have a good one mate.
