I have an Healtech H01 which I occasionally use on the CT and Integra. I have the software on my Microsoft Surface. Only needed it once in anger when my son in law used a pressure washer on the Integra and a fault code came up. Cant remember what it was now. I  used the tool to clear the code. the HO1 can not read DCT codes. I asked them if they would be adding that feature, they replied maybe in the future. I need to plug the tool into the computer again because when you do it automatically checks for updates. There is another way to read the codes by bridging two terminals in the diagnostic plug which then makes a symbol flash on the display which can be converted into fault codes. There is a bit of kit available which plugs into the diagnostic socket. It is just plug with a loop wire which bridges the Brown and Green wires. Honda part no. is 070PZ-ZY30100. I got one from my Brother in law who   was a Honda Marine agent. When I gave him the part number he said "we have a bin full of them". They are used across the board on Honda products for basic diagnostics. The Workshop Manual has a full list of the codes. There are a lot of them. Hope this helps.

I have just checked in the Honda workshop Manual. It is possible to erase the Fault codes using the Honda plug in jumper (which Honda call SCS connector).
    1. Plug the SCS in to the diagnostic socket
    2. Turn the ignition on.
    3. Unplug the SCS.
    4. The engine symbol (called the MIL, it stands for Malfunction Indicator Light) will light for 5 seconds.
    5. While it is alight plug the SCS back in.
    6. The memory is erased if the MIL goes of then starts flashing.

This only works if the Brown and Green wires are jumped by the SCS while the MIL is alight.
Another way of looking at it is if you can jump between the Brown and Green with a piece of wire you don't need the SCS. Bit fiddley though.
Put this number into Google 070PZ-ZY30100. Not expensive, unless you buy the Honda one!
