I have been pondering around installation of hot grips ,my crosstourer did not come with hot grips 2019 bike😠.Is the throttle tube on the crosstourer very thin and is there a plastic tube underneath, has anyone installed the adventure grips is there much removal of bike trim or can you feed underneath the tank to battery ext.

    Dead easy.

Plastic throttle tube and threaded through tank (only need to lift it) to battery. Never had a problem. Although obviously they are fatter grips. Piece of piss. Welcome to the world of warm palms!

:789: sorry, use most of the glue on the left grip as I did not and had to re-do it a couple of times after when they got hot the left grip had movement, even after leaving it for a couple of days to set.

Cos the right bar has the plastic throttle tube the grip sticks better.

So here’s the idiot question; how do you get the old grips off first?
