    Hello _Ray_,

This new crossing sounds very convenient, but looks quite expensive (almost 700 Euros), even when taking a nights accommodation and fuel into account !!

    Wack

Don't know where you get to €700, i paid 240 for the bike and a hut or how it's called in English (140 bike and me plus 100 for the hut).
Initial plan before the renewed connection was announced was to go to Hirtshals, take a hotel and the ferry the next day.
But that is 600km more on highway as i planned doing the 925km in one go, a hotel because after 925km i rather not sleep in a tent when not necessary plus the ferry which also is €100.
So it's cheaper and i can have a nice countryside ride from the south of NL (Limburg) to the north plus i gain a day to spend.

    Hello _ray_,

Yes, the €700 was for the return option !  :169:

The hut is a cabin in English !  :152:

I've got Hirtshals-Kristiansand booked for end of May/June. Just means an extra night in DK on the way there and in NL on the way back, €112 for the ferry and €100 per night for the accommodation plus about €140 for fuel. So about €450 compared with €700  :156:

The extra days are just part of the adventure !! :152:

I rather have the day extra in places where i can't go on a weekend trip :018:
Also wanted to go to Lofoten islands but on the trip i had planned it just was a bit too much but now i can go there as well.
But 450 one way against 240 is still a big difference and for me the one way from Eemshaven at €240 is cheaper than the long way north.
