I've bought a givi m5 plate to mount my maxima topbox...dies this mount straight onto the crosstourer frame or do i need extra mounting plates?...cheers

Looks like you need another piece of kit from givi. They do adaptor plates to fit the m5 to the crosstourer rack. Part number SR1110
They also do a plate which does the job of both SRA1110 but that's bike specific

I recently changed the Honda top box for a givi, and although you can get the mounting plate separate, it wasn’t that much more to get it with the M5 bracket, so I bought and fitted both, was easy to fit..
