A few weeks ago I replaced my my standard windshield with a Givi Airflow.
installation was not very smooth due to some sketchy cowl nuts in combination with a not so properly mounted DIY GPS mount.
Anyway, I had to let go of that GPS mount if I were to mount the Give Airflow.
Last Saturday was my first proper ride (670km in a day) with that new windshield after some shorter day trips.
For the first time a used the highway after 1900hrs which means 130kmph is allowed one some highways.
After 30 minutes the windshield in the highest position was vibrating a lot when I was cruising at 130kmph (+

)
I decided to stop and adjust the windshield into a lower position. When did that I discovered that the windshield was only hanging on with one "bolt".

The other bolts had "popped out".
I performed some battle damage repair with some tie reps so I could continue.

Luckily I made it home with the windscreen on the bike.
I ordered some parts to attach the windscreen properly again.
Looking at
https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/en/honda-parts/2014-vfr1200xdl-dual-clutch-motorcycles/f-43-upper-cowl I am missing one thing: a 9mm nylon washer. For some reason only 8mm and 10mm nylon washer seems to exist.

Is it okay (and safe) to use a 10mm nylon washer in stead of a 9mm washer?
Picture: Were these ever even proper cowl nuts???
