    Swap manual to DCT?

Hey guys just a question I couldn't find anywhere. So right now i've realized i've done 10k kilometers with my bike in 3 months, and all is good but if there was one thing i would change it would have to be the transmission type. So as far as I know if one wish to change from manual to DCT, he would need to change the bike entirelly but i'm not a fan of that idea. I'm very well satisfied with the mods i've made to mine, to make it my own, and the miles/kilometers i've covered in such short period (even with the covid out there), so I've been thinking... We can change whatever we want on any bike, if we have the resources to do it, and since there is a DCT version of this bike, should be possible to buy the parts and ask the honda dealer to make the magic, no?

Does anyone know if this change is at all possible?

    Cheers!

Not heard of anyone doing it. Anything is possible but my guess is the cost would make it prohibitive. Id guess you could buy a DCT CT aswell as your own for the amount youd have to spend doing the modification.

I have a mate who changed a petrol jag to diesel-before they offered heavy oil engines .As suggested the cost was extreme -and it took 6 months!
far better to buy a crash rebuild job - bikes get written off for cosmetics nowdays. Then you could swop over all your goodies. I built an FY1200 steetfighter that had a bent frame - very pleased but a lot of work mostly my time -but if you like spannering and have the workshop/ space I am sure you could go it

Thanks for the sugestions, but it seems that it would take too much time away from the CT so I'll pass... if it would be an easy and quick (1 week tops) "fix" i wouldn't mind, but I guess that to invest that much, it would be better to replace the bike entirely
