fork socks- arrived at fitting!
on: June 10, 2021, 06:15:06 PM
So I have quickly fitted the 2 on the off side.Suggestions on which side to put the zip- my thoughts are on the outside so any stones thrown up won't hit the zip but havent really thought it through. But maybe at the back -you can see the zip to check.
anyway easy to fit it 2 minutes -they go over the seal area
one colour only-black!
arrived well wrapped in a shipping plastic bag -with 2 other bags inside.

If they create any interest i offered to stock some for forum members as we all have the thin chrome from Honda!

Great! If you can post a pic that'd be just the job. What do the socks cost by the way?

Cheers

as i said just bunged on-but like a wetsuit they are stretchy and the zip seems robust. I haven't tried to make it look smart but will try the zip on the rear - and like trousers adjust not to bunch up!

They cost me best part of £50 -50% was shipping and no doubt tax all over-but if enough demand i might see what discount we can get. Put it this way -cheaper than £200 for a pair of after market sliders without the stripping & fitting of internals!

You don't by any chance call your bike Nora, do you?

You only need to cover the lower part (inner tube)  :092:
What material is it?
It's very convenient but i prefer the ones i have, i looked for a set with a zipper but couldn't find the right size and the ones without feel more secure to me but it's a great solution for when your not comfortable with taking the legs out.

I have actually been pondering these ones, shksck1776.  Anyone have experience with them?

On my DRZ i had a slightly different set.
