    Drivetrain noise?

    Just back from the first tour on the CT and i thought i could hear drivetrain noise that wasn't there before.  Popped it onto the main stand to have a better listen :

    Sounds like it's coming from the engine side of the swingarm.  Someone please tell me this is normal :006: :006: :006:

    To me it does not sound wrong, i think my has a same sound and i do not have any  particular suspicius noice on the ride!! My is 2017 mod, 12000km!

    That noise is plain wrong. It sounds like there is no oil in final drive. I ignore the oem oil spec and run fully synthetic Castrol Syntrax 80/140. It's as quiet as a mouse. I've been using ot for 50,000km. no difference in fuel consumption so there is no additional frictional drag - probably as fully synthetic oils have much less drag at higher viscosities than mineral oils.
