we all agree that moving the CT is a bit of a task -and several members here say they will change bikes because of parking, turning ,weight issues.
I note on fleabay a few "lazy Susan" spinners that you put the bike on-as long as you have a centre stand.
I have mailed the seller who hasn't put in any details on the underside -is it fixed to the floor ,or what? Will it take 280 kilos for long before bending.is there a "brake" on it?
Anyone got /using one of these and can you give a feedback?

thanks Richo searching the net there are quite a lot out there with a firm in Norfolk offering a cheapo at £130 up to a fortune for exhibitions etc. U tube shows a few like yours with a plank to ride onto that has the spinner central, ride on,turn ,ride off then park.
The plan is to be able to ride in wet, cold maybe miserable -then logically return to spin the bike when all happy and dry.
Does yours sit on the floor without moving about ? that would make it problem !

hi, yes its very sturdy, i think it had a load capacity of around 1000lbs, the ring sits on the floor well, as long as its flat

I thought about getting one for the BIRD after seeing my brother use one with his vfr800.
But just be aware that you have to be able to lift the front wheel off the ground by using your body weight on the rear.
If you can't then you will struggle to turn it.

thanks DE65Y at only a tenner -plus a few quid to a mate to make a treadplate to size and fit in I am prepared to risk it.
Its got to be worth it as it will force me to clear up the garage -in itself an event!
will let you know how i get on

You can check now by just seeing if you can lift the front wheel by pressing on the rear.
