    Hi all,

I've been riding for coming up 13 years and currently have a Honda NC750S. With the state of the world this last year meaning limits on what we can do and where we can go, biking was obviously a good hobby to have as we could don our ultimate face coverings and spend the day outside, in what was largely decent weather. Good for socially distancing with your mates too, being both together but more than 2 metres apart at the same time! With it looking like it'll be more of the same this year, been looking into other bikes perhaps more suitable to more time spent in the saddle covering longer distances and with more luggage in tow for staycation touring, and as a lover of the DCT system the VFR1200X is an obvious candidate. I therefore thought I'd join your community to do a bit more research and perhaps ask a few questions, and get some inspiration. Already found some useful information here so thought it'd be polite to say a quick "Hello".

Hi Damo, I've had my non-DCT for three years and it's a great bike for all sorts of use.

This is also a great forum, full of really useful links and knowledgeable folk from around the world.

First thing is to get yourself a test ride as its quite a tall bike and a bit on the heavy side but I reckon your mind will be made up after a few miles!

    Good luck  :028:
