Givi luggage, Dolomiti and Weightless hybrid tail bag

It took some research and money but I finally got my luggage configured for touring. I typically won't run side boxes and a top box together. With this new Givi Weighless series hybrid monokey tail bag I will make an exception. The V47 was noisy and created wind turbulence that drove me crazy on the highway. With this new bag, there is none of that and I get smooth quiet air and it weighs like 2 pounds. I don't even know it's there. I can sling my North Face bag across the seat and I should be all set. I'm gonna try to do a coast to coast as soon as the weather warms up a little.

Nice setup. What tank bag do you have and are you happy with it? I need a tank bag and the choices are overwhelming.

Givi tank Lock Sport line, 5L. I like it, I use it for keys, glasses, gloves, cables and my Shield9. Perfect for what I need and I can still see my GPS.

Thanks on tank bag info. Tread hijack: I’m curious in your coast to coast ride. A 50CC from Jacksonville to San Diego or a flower sniffing ride?

Flower sniffing, my iron butt, and camping days are done. I am thinking of running straight through the middle. I like Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, northern AZ, etc. Come back along the Canadian border, Rt2, and visit Glacier, Montana, Wyoming, ND, etc.

Brilliant idea for a ride.  I need to do a big loop like that

With that route, the start to a National Parks ride is in order. Twenty-five states and 50 national park stamps. I completed one a few years ago and it was well worth it.

I like it!  I asked about that top case down the hall at ADV.  What model is that exactly.  I like the looks of your whole luggage set up.

Tell us more about the turbulence and what set up created it if you have a minute.  I need to buy boxes for my 2017 CT.  Same color as yours!
