    Can anyone inform me as to where the chassis number and engine number is on a Honda Crosstourer?

    Factory manual for the 2016 model says:
    "The Vehicle Identification Number is stamped on the right side of the steering head."

    "The engine serial number is stamped on the right side of the lower crankcase."
    Diagram shows it just above and slightly forward of the right footpeg.
    You'll need to remove the plastic heat guard there to read the number (look for the fastener underneath).

    You shouldn't need the engine number.
