    I might as well join the bash plate debate.   :008:

    Has any one changed the colour of the Givi bash plate?

    Looks to give excellent protection but the colour makes it look awful! (IMO)
    Needs toning down to maybe a matt black then it wouldn't look so big.

    I have a Hepco and Becker which is black. Almost the same as the SW Motech but with an higher frontside for better protection of the exhausts.
    If you already have a Givi and want him black i suggest you have him anodised. Powder coat will chip easily and when you want to paint it use a proper epoxy primer.

    The Hepco & Becker was going to be my first choice because of the higher front.
    But the Givi version is starting to grow on me because it come higher up the sides
    protecting the oil filter, It's just the amount of silver down there looks (to me) to be too much.

    Whilst on the subject, does any one know whether it will fit with the centre stand fitted?

    The Givi fits with the stock center stand just fine.  No mods needed.
