    Anyone recognise this bike?

Hi Just wondering did this bike belong to a past member
As I was thinking of buying and wanted to verify the milage
And see if it had any issues etc.

    Reg: ML68EUR (September 2018)

Currently has 7400 miles on the clock.

You might recognize it from the sticker beside the Honda badge on the left upper fairing.

The chap that is selling had the bike about 2 weeks and is selling as it's too heavy.

After looking at pictures of it I noticed it was a bike I have seen before from a dealer called Ghost Superbikes LTD  https://www.ghostsuperbikes.co.uk/ It was advertised with them for £7600 and the guy that is selling it now was looking for £8400 but dropped to £8100 with some bargaining (before I realised it would have sold for £7600 or less)

The reason I didnt buy it when I seen it from Ghost superbikes is I thought there might have been tampering with the speedometer as it was quite dirty underneath the kind of dirt from a well used bike with bigger mileage. But it was then detailed and new pictures put up.

It could be sound but I think I’d be wary of a bike someone only owned 2 weeks. That and you had reservations about it before.

True it was actually bought on 29/11/20 and the seller responded to a wanted post I put up on the Crosstourer Facebook group on 02/12/20 so it was actually 4 days!

It's been a funny (not ha ha) year and lots of people have been buying cars & bikes. My next door neighbour sells high ends cars and he was telling me only a fortnight ago he's been mad busy for months. Lots of people with lots of money sloshing about. So the guy could have bought it on a whim and not even seen it himself or sat on it. Just bought over the internet. Then realised very quickly she's a big girl. That LHS sticker will no doubt be covering a scratch, I will eat my sock if it's not. Roads are filthy so any ride of decent length is gonna muck up underneath. However, if you are unsure or something puts you off leave it and keep looking. Buy in haste repent at your leisure. At the very least before going any further YOU should do (i.e. pay the tenner or whatever) and do a registration number check on it to look for stolen/recovered, insurance markers against it. That does seem a very cheap bike TBH.

Some good Crosstourers on Donedeal.ie with low mileage. I am sure they are all open to good discounts considering the time of year.
