rear brake - sticking on .
on: November 29, 2020, 05:49:38 PM
quick question- is the CT prone to sticky brake pistons? Given that most may be more summer toys that regular wheels- is it a known fault?
before I strip out the DCT hand brake- looks like a quick one to adjust first  - thought i would ask you experts.Mines only done 9400 miles in 2 years so logically summer miles!

Modern brake pads do seem to generate a lot of brake dust, I think we just have to get into very regular cleaning to avoid this. Every so often I whip the callipers off and pull the pins, remove the pads to give everything a good clean and wiggle the pistons to check they are all nice and free.
