New owner from Colorado, USA
on: November 15, 2020, 04:50:20 AM
Good evening.  I just added a new 2017 DCT to my garage and have loved every minute of the first 200 miles.

I’ve been reading some of the discussions on crash bars, luggage, seat upgrades and will spend some of the winter adding some upgrades.

Take care and ride safe all.

Welcome! The first 200 miles just make you want to ride the bike again.  But also might make you want to upgrade the seat. 250 is my limit on the stock seat - the ride starts getting painful at that point without frequent breaks.

Where are you in CO?  I spent 13 years in the Springs and Monument before arriving here in NE FL. I miss those mountains every day...

Hey Ernest, live in Highlands Ranch - love riding down to the Springs area but can’t stand I-25, so usually I go west and see if I can get lost in the mountains.  Went out again the past weekend and took some mountain roads up into the Hayman fire area by Deckers, have some snow up there now, makes for an invigorating ride.  :002:

Not that you need my help, but you could make a nice loop with 85/105 down to Monument or Springs, then back via 83. Keeps you out of the snow and off I-25.

Hope you enjoy your bike as much as I'm liking mine!
