does that make my staus change on the forum?
anyway won't be rushing to tax it and burn off into wet leaf piles to test the abs! But looking for advice on things to initially consider improving
    all thoughts appreciated

LED headlight bulbs make a big difference, not just to what you can see but to people seeing you.

+1 rad guard. True story. Had a new ZZR1400 dropped off at home, dry day, wanted to go for a ride (obviously). However had a rad guard to fit and a chain oiler. Decided to fit the bits first in the morning then go out in the afternoon to work up a snagging list. Anyway, the rad guard was really fiddly because access was so poor under the nose so I nearly gave up (to do another day). Soooo glad I didn't because I went out and maybe 7-8 miles from home a lorry (passing me in the opposite direction) flicked up a large stone that 'thwacked' into my bike at about I dunno, maybe 50mph, and there was nothing I could do to avoid it. I couldn't believe it. Lots of swearing. I pulled up to look at the damage. In between the front mudguard and inner fairing was a big dent in the rad guard BUT no damage to anything else or the radiator. Thank goodness. I later found out a new radiator is like £1000 or something never mind fitting it. So yea. Rad guard +1.

Exhaust. OE weighs a ton. Looks gash. Sound by Zanussi.

For me the seat needed attention and I went with the Corbin.   The suspension was something that I addressed, though it is purely a subjective endeavor.   Skene Photon Blasters and Aux lights for visibility.  I don't have cruise control but a lot of owners like that option.

    Enjoy the bike!!
