Should I sell certain OEM parts?

Just wondering what your opinion is on selling the OEM exhaust, and plastic fairing (lower parts). I sold my OEM crash bars because I upgraded to SW Motech. The buyer had a crash and is trying to rix the bike buy buying the OEM exhaust and certain plastic parts, which I have all replaced for aluminum parts and/or dismounted for easy maintenance acces.

He's willing to pay a fair price for it all, but I'm wondering how this affects my sale price in the future.

I dont use the parts like my exhaust, but I dont want to be blinded by the offered money and end up loosing more on the remaining value in the future.

Stock is overrated.
And i don't understand why.
People want a stock bike but when they have it they spend a lot of money replacing various parts for aftermarket stuff.
When i change something and i can sell the OEM bits they're gone... money in my pocket for other nice parts or gas for a nice ride and space in the garage 

And don't forget that if you get €100 less because something is not stock but you sold that part for €150 you do have €50 more and not €100 less.

I come at this from a different angle. When you come to trade your bike (which you probably will at some point) and the dealer or potential private buyer says do you have the original bits? Do they think you dropped your bike if you haven't got them and walk away?  Personally I would 99% walk because sadly I don't trust anyone selling anything.   For the sake of £50 or whatever I would wrap them carefully in an old blanket and stick them in the loft or garage.

That’s pretty much how I see it, if I were buying I’d want the original item too. It would probably make me walk away.

Thanks, I'll take both sides in consideration. Selling the bike would most definitely mean swapping it at a dealer for a new bike when the bike has high mileage. I'm at 102K at the moment and put on ~15-20K a year. I don't think any private buyer would buy a 150K-200K+ Crosstourer anyway.

as a new owner the only reason to change parts is to improve.A mate changed his cans on a Blackbird - i said after millions developing the fastest bike in the world (at that time) did he really think he could improve on their skills. The other view is "the makers have to homogenise parts to fit in with legislation world wide"so maybe a can has to be over restrictive for say Switzerland? In USA I hired a Harley with no baffles - no one has them in apparently! i felt guilty waking up folk!
So I am going to fit rad guard,fender extender,hugger which are just sensible - but a very good can -like an Akro or Wings (same manufacturer, different badge) only if one comes at the right price! And a phone holder - not a rip off bike GPS!

Changing the stock exhaust is a huge improvement in both audio and visual aspects. Much more lower grunts. I hate these shining tanker ship sized end cans. I'm convinced my fuel range is better too. I usually did an average in wintertime of 1l/14 and summer 1l/18 and am now getting 1l/16 up to 1l/20.5 on easy rides. I live near the German border and usually get the better quality gas there cheaper than the expensive Dutch E10 crap. The autobahn is just heaven, hitting the limiter and wasting 1L/6km. So every ~1.5 minute a liter gone lol (~a gallon per 5 minutes). I have a free legal "speedtrack" just 10 minutes from my house.

If you're trading at that mileage 150-200k, I'm not sure originality will make much difference on the trade-in value. Sell your parts, clear some space and make a few quid.
If however your bike is low Mike's and holds strong value, I like to return to original and sell the accessories.
