Just gonna give this a little bump to the top. I'd really love to hear some first hand feedback on these tyres. Our bikes are so heavy that a recommendation from someone with a bike that's 40 or 50 or even 60kg lighter might not be relevant.

I have this tyres in CT. Newet before have Dunlop on my bikes. They come with CT bought used 2017.
First impression: they are a bit harder, goes to corners perfect, stays in desired line in corners, stick to tarmac really well.
Wearing is compared to Metzzeller, maybe to an older Michelin. Didn' have time to test it in the rain.
All this is comparing with my experience on Varadero driven with Metzzeller, Michelin and Mitas. Always with pillion, manny times heawy loaded.
Crousing along balkan roads, manny km on costal road.

    Thank you for the reply.

So you would say they are a comfortable tyre with good grip.

As for anny thing, depends, they are good tyres, perhaps they don't feel sticky like Mitas, but all in all good. It also depends where will be driven (cold&wet or hot&dry).
I am just not enough familiar with it because luck of mileage (cc 4000km).

Saw this tyre launched at a motocycle show at the old Maze prison site a few years ago, spoke to the rep. about them. Did'nt seem to have the glitz of the Michelin 5 or metzerer 01 at the time. Not listed for sale by the usual outlets, not heard of them since you mentioned them Younger06. What sparked your interest?

I'm always curious to try new tyres. I was very impressed with the Dunlop Trailsmart Max and the Meridian is the tyre that replaces those in the Dunlop range.

Overlanders have fitted them to some of their bikes since release and they only have good things to say about them.

Was down in Overlanders last week.........the lads where singing the praises of the Meridian. The say it's a vast improvement over the Trailsmart MAX (and I liked that tyre)

    €330 ride in/ride out service.

I still have a few thousand kms left on my Conti's but I will deffo be going with the Dunlops.
