A mate of mine is selling the rear fender thingy off his CB1000R. Anyone know if it will fit the CT. Thinking it may just help keep the rear end a bit cleaner.

If you are referring to a Fender Extender then my guess would be unlikely!
I thought, from the ones I've bought in the past, that they were bike specific.
They fit snuggly to the shape of the edge of the fender/mudguard.

Hi DE65Y. Nope. Not the fender extender it’s the rear fender thingy that bolts to the swingarm. The BMW GS looking thingy.

I’d also be interested to know as I took the rear fender off my new CB1000r in March. Reckon it would like decent. If I manage to source a CT I may find out myself.

Ah, the thingy bit at the back!
Someone only recently fitted one from a BMW onto his Tourer, might be worth having a look at how he mounted it.
You may also get an idea whether it's feasible by comparing wheel and tyre sizes.

Hello,
From memory you need a second hand rear fender from a BMW 1150GS (Others may suit but that is what I used) which you should be able to get cheap enough from BMW Parts people Motorworks. Then you need to ask member “marcopolo” on this forum very nicely to make you one of his brackets and then you are good to go. All that is then needed is to paint the bracket and cut of the mount from the BMW fender so as to be able to bolt it to the bracket. Sounds hard but actually quite easy!
Hope that helps!
Best regards,
David
