driveshaft maintenance

is there precribed maintenance for the sliding parts of the drive shaft? With My BMW 1200 gs i lubed the driveshaft splines with sturabugs grease. Also a wise idea for the honda?

Per the manual, change Final Drive Oil every 3 years.  Other than that, I see nothing in the manual.

I replace mine on every yearly service.  As stated before, the manual suggests once every three years but the oil is not expensive and it is an easy procedure hence I do it annually.
