    Pilot Road 5 Trail noise

    Hallo!
Since i installed new Michelin PR5 Trail i have stranage roling noise at 120kmh! Probably it is all the time but at 120kmh i can hear it at most!
Noise is like bearing noise in the car or something like it, howling noise. It is hard to describe!
Before the tyre chanage i did not notice anything like that. Oem tyres were Brigstone 501/502.
Everything else with PR5 Trail is ok! Bike feels like 30kg lighter and agil and the grip is excellent.
Every thing on the bike seems to be ok!
Final drive sounds normal when turning the rear wheel.
    Did anyone expirience anything simular?

I have the same problem on my Varadero but older model  tyers. Replacing them with Mitas, Wow! what a diference! Michelin are good tyers, werry sticky evan in rain but old design have problem with noise after some milage specaly if riding with pilion.

This are brand new tyres, last generation🤔?
Newer heard this sound before and it makes me wonder if it is something else, but by turning the wheels, every thing looks fine?

I went today to Honda service for a second opinion! The honda guy check the wheels, than took my bike for a 20min ride, came back, and said, it must be tyres🤔!
I asked about if anybody had a same experience on German Crosstourer forum and two guys answered had no issues with this tyres and one has a same problem!
    So it is interesting!
If is tyres issue i can live with it, becouse this tyres are very goot to ride.

I find I have a similar winding sound with the Michelin Anakee 3.  It also does the same sound with the same tires on the Varadero. It comes from the rear tire but it sounds like it's coming from the front.

I had them and found them great, then went to the Anakee Adventure followed by the Anakee Wild an noe back on the adventure
Never had any of those issues with either one of them.
The Anakee's do are a bit more vibrant but that's logical being more offroad related.

    I'm going from these ......

    Images no longer available

You want some 'growling', try those Motoz.   Despite the sound, they are really planted on the tarmac......

I'm excited to see how the Michelin's wear.... I have heard they can get 15k miles plus.
