I have read a number of posts and comments about attempts to improve the wind and noise issues with the stock windshield.  I have not come across any mentions of a company in the states called California Scientific (ironically they are out of Missouri) ?  They make shields in different sizes with some custom features for the CT.  It looks promising but I would welcome hearing some real world feedback.

    Good morning
I responded to Taylors1960 yesterday concerning the California Scientific windscreen. I currently own three Crosstourers and all are equipped with the California Scientific large size screen. I’m very pleased with the performance of this windscreen. I don’t think you would be disappointed. This firm was formerly located in California before relocating to current location.

I have one too on my 2016 CT. My problem with the Original windscreen is that it's not wide enough for me. The California Scientific Improves the wind and rain protection compared to the original. With the manual adjustment feature on the CT, I bring it down when I hit intense temperature. It works for me.

Do any of you that have the California Scientific windshield find the untinted bottom of the screen causes problems or concerns you?

I have several of the untinted windshields. Haven’t been any problems for me.
