Skene photon blasters - where did you mount them?

Just received the photon blasters and am contemplating where to mount them.  The obvious choices are:
    1) use the supplied bracket at the fender mounting bolts, with the lights positioned outboard of the forks/fender support
    2) drill a hole on each side of the plastic fender support and mount directly there, with the lights positioned in front of the forks/fender support.

How/where are yours mounted and would you do it differently?

Maybe, but you have to agree that a pair of these mounted up front will look bad-ass!

Or maybe a pair of these instead:

Most of the time when i don't have anything positive to say i rather don't say anything at all (Most of the time... not all of the time) but if you say that anybody else "have" to agree i'll just "have" to react.
This is NOT looking badass and for upcoming traffic i imagine it will be totally annoying.
When you mount the normal auxiliary lights you can adjust them but these blast you right in the face.

Ray, if my joke about mounting a child's toy to the front of my bike has you triggered, then you're having a bad day.

The actual lights have a ton of positive reviews and the search function tells me that they're in use (or were used) by several members of this forum.  Still hoping to hear from one or more of them.

I just got a new pair with all the features.   Top fender screw, with spacer, is where I had them on my NC.  They all but eliminated pullouts.  Amazing technology, really.  However, I would not rule out a clamp on the forks with an inch or two offset to the sides.  These things are very bright and also very effective.   You see drivers turn their heads and look in your direction without pulling out.

Could you do me a favor?  When you get them installed would you let us all know if you experience the reduction in pullouts as I have?   I just want to make sure this is not dubmb luck.  Thanks in advance.
