    Norway 2020 aftermovie

Hey guys, for those interested in seeing my Crossy touring in Norway, check out the youtube link below. I was suppose to go and stay the first two weeks of August, but inside the worlds longest tunnel, I hit the only object on the road, slashing into the side of the running part of my rear tire. I was doubtful if I could continue but I simply had too since the nearest garage was at least 400 kilometres away.. After that, I dropped the bike on the only boulder sticking out of a steep gravel slope (23%) while stalling and rolling backwards and it snapped the pivot point in half where my right footpeg attaches. Five days of of bad weather and more bad weather forecast made us turn home a few days earlier, riding 1200 kilometres using a tiewrap for a footpeg. Oh and my left fork seal is shot to pieces leaking a lot of oil which I noticed just two days ago.

Luckily I was able to order a used part from Ebay for €90,- ($100) instead of THE WHOPPING €420,- ($490) HONDA TRIED TO CHARGE ME. Fork seals will be replaced this weekend.

Despite the setbacks, Norway has beautiful roads and stunning scenery! The average speed limit is 60kmp/h, just 37mph. Best mileage I ever got out of this bike, doing well over 23km/1l (54 mpg).

Cracking vid (and a lesson in editing for me as mine are 2-3hrs lol.) Really nicely done.

The dramas can happen but usually rare. I reckon you have had your fill for a while there.
