I had the Roadsmart III fitted when i bought the bike because i liked them on de VTEC but i didn't on the CT, to much interference from the traction control.
After the RS3 i fitted a set Michelin Road 5 Trail witch where great and then the Michelin Anakee Adventure and they where even better. Notting less than the Road 5 Trail on the tarmac (lots of people couldn't keep up with me in the twisty mountains) but also great on dirt and gravel roads.
You might not need the latter but if you don't have to compromise the road qualities and lifespan why not take the off-road ability anyway? You never know where you end up and they also look good on the CT
A win, win, win.
You're right about giving the choices but mine is in compresence with other road based tyres and my experience is that the Anakee Adventure does better on the road than the RS3. Both are very direct and follow the pad you send them in but the Adventure never failed gripwise where the RS3 triggered the TC multiple times.
