Hi everyone, I have to change the tires on my motorcycle, I have used the metzerler tourance next, I have done well with them, but I would like to try another make and model, which one do you recommend? Thanks and greetings

I highly recommend the Michelin Anakee Adventure.
It's a 80/20 but it does so well on asphalt AND on light off-road that i would call it a 90/30. Last year i had a set witch lasted 14.000Km and i could go another 1500, maybe 2000km more.
Now i run a set Anakee Wild but after this i will get another set Anakee Adventure and keep looking for another set of wheels with damaged rims to respoke the hubs with a heavy duty rim to put some Anakee Wilds on so i can change for whatever ride i want to do.

If you don't bring the bike off road....put a set od sport touring tyres on it. For the first time in about 120,000kms on a big adventure type bike if have fitted Dunlop Roadsmart III and I am kicking myself that I didn't do it sooner.

A good 90/10 tyre would be Dunlop Trailsmart MAX.......If you are looking for a good 70/30 maybe have a look at Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR

Every person, including myself will be giving you their own choices...........you are probably going to be recommended every tyre on the market.

Thank you very much for your comments, I had thought about those two options, practically my driving is on asphalt, I never tried the continental ones but I am hearing very good comments from them, greetings

I had the Roadsmart III fitted when i bought the bike because i liked them on de VTEC but i didn't on the CT, to much interference from the traction control.
After the RS3 i fitted a set Michelin Road 5 Trail witch where great and then the Michelin Anakee Adventure and they where even better. Notting less than the Road 5 Trail on the tarmac (lots of people couldn't keep up with me in the twisty mountains) but also great on dirt and gravel roads.
You might not need the latter but if you don't have to compromise the road qualities and lifespan why not take the off-road ability anyway? You never know where you end up and they also look good on the CT  :164: A win, win, win.

You're right about giving the choices but mine is in compresence with other road based tyres and my experience is that the Anakee Adventure does better on the road than the RS3. Both are very direct and follow the pad you send them in but the Adventure never failed gripwise where the RS3 triggered the TC multiple times.

Thank you very much for your comment, I think it is a very valid option for when I travel again to Morocco and I am encouraged to do more off road, the metzerler tourance next did not give me much confidence, greetings :169:

When you do go off-road think about it that in loose sand the grip might not be enough and on rocky terrain the front wheel can skid off to the side because the lack of "bite" on the sides.

that is the sensation that produced me to take the metzerler, but except when I go to Morocco I usually step on little sand tracks, I think a more logical option would be more asphalt tires, they speak well of the michelin pilot roads and in comparisons of motorrad the " continental trail atack "is the one that stands out best, I am very attentive to the indications you give me, greetings. :038:
