    Aftermarket Handlebars

I have had my new 17 CT for a month now and have one issue I can’t seem to solve.
Because the handlebar handgrips, have less sweep than my last adv tourer I get significant numbness and tingling in both hands. I am reasonably certain it has to do with the sweep angle causing strain on the nerves in my wrists. So far I have tried adjusting the angle of the bars, and putting foam grips on the handle bars. I may consider rox risers but am not convinced this is the answer. I spoke with pro taper and they sent me a handlebar with a greater rise and sweep than the oem bars and was excited until I found out that the inside diameter of bar ends were too small for the bar weights and had no threaded nut inside the bar.

My question is, does anyone know of an aftermarket handlebar that is compatible with the vfr ? Thanks for the help.

Maybe if you had a long time different bike, you need a time to adjust! Your body has memorised old position and now want to have ii! Maybe wait longer and you wil adapt! I have blackbird 13years and i was prerfectly adapted on her, and now i ride more crosstourer! Some time i take my Blackbird for ride! What a diference, my body starts to complain and i start geting pain everywere🤔!
    13 years 85000km no problems!
    Give a try👍💪

Thank you, I like the CT so much I am willing to just give it time. I was however hoping an aftermarket handlebar would help.

Hi, I have a similar problem to yours, if you don't mind I would like to know what model of handlebar you have received from Protaper. Thank you very much and sorry for my English as a translator.
