    Eastern Beaver Kit for VFR1200

It's about time I start to wire a few things up (GPS, foglights, running lights and possibly heated grips).  With that said, I was looking at the Eastern Beaver Kit for VFR1200 (https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Bike_Specific/VFR1200/vfr1200.html). An email was sent over the weekend if this kit would work for the VFR1200x and here's the response received,

"You would need to measure your bike and check to see that you have the same 6
    pin connector.
    Here are the kit specs:

"From pos. battery terminal to relay is 14"
Negative batt. lead is + 6"
Switching lead with 6pin male connector from relay is 60"
From relay to where the PC8 sits is 4"
Total length from Pos. batt. terminal to PC8 is 19"

    Hope that helps...Dave for EB"

Do you think this will work?

My setup will include the AT in dash fog light button.  Just trying to decide between the above, the accessory honda harness (vfr1200x), or just a PC8 by itself.

Hi, I just fitted a standard PC8 board a few years ago, I didn't have any issues. The Eastern Beaver stuff is excellent quality, I have it on two of my bikes and have never had an issue. One thing to bear in mind though is that if comes from Japan I believe, and so incurs a hefty customs charge upon entry into the UK, which was a surprise to me  :005: I don't know if the same charges apply to the USA.

Matlock, thanks for the info.  I may give it a try.
