Sauerland Trip June 2020
on: June 26, 2020, 10:19:04 PM
Last week I did some touring in German Sauerland. COVID-19 restrictions were still active but the area was beautiful as ever and I enjoyed the ride.

Great roads, beautiful scenery, excellent weather and no traffic

Not all the roads had that great quality since I included lot's of L and K roads to avoid traffic.

The L and K roads are the most beautiful to ride in Germany. Only problem is the state of the tarmac sometimes.
Since they reunited with the east most of the budget for the roads went there and now the overall budget is too small to keep it up to the standards it used to be.
In the winters the roads have a lot to endure but are not repaired as quickly any more.

Love watching these Videos.. Still can't get used to riding on the other side of the road.
Have done it on an alps tour years ago but still freaks me out to watch it.
Some of them Alpine passes are a Hoot.

Due to recent financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

Thanks.

I can imagine riding on the the other side can be a challenge. I have never did that (yet) but I am close to the UK so maybe one day I wil experience it.

Alpine roads might get closed for certain motorcycles due to new laws and regulations.  :006:

I finished another part of my trip. Still wondering why 1080p looks so much worse than 1440p or 210p on Youtube...  :789:
