A trip to the Seaside
on: June 17, 2020, 10:59:13 PM
I fancied a nice ride to the seaside today, but then remembered that I live by the seaside. So I went to the seaside on the other side of the country. Home (north of Liverpool), to Robin Hood’s Bay, some hooning around the North Yorks Moors and then back home again. 353.9 miles. The first beer when I got home didn’t touch the sides  :821:
I avoided motorways completely and stuck to fast and quiet A roads. The Crosstourer excels at this type of road. But after a quick paddle in the North Sea, I jumped back on the bike and did this route before heading home:

As well as fast and sweeping roads there were nadgery moorland roads, hairpins and suicidal sheep. Again, no problem for the CT  :152:.

Also in the garage: Yamaha TDM900 & XTZ750.

Adjusted your link slightly to give a better representation of the route  :028:
