Hi, first change of. coolant fluid on VFR1200X 2012  at 70000km, green fluid, and inside, some silver scrapings...OMG. very small, like half of millimetar and various shaped.
I check the water pump, but it is OK.
    Does anyone has similar experience?

    Regards

Anyone ever use a stop leak additive?  That stuff has aluminum flakes in it.  Other than that, I'm with you in checking the water pump....impeller hits housing and shaves aluminum.  To be honest, the impeller hitting the housing is a reference I am drawing from cars, which might not be true with this Honda.  Interested to hear what you find out.  Good luck.

Yeah, stop leak additive, but I don’t know is it as precaution reason, or maybe killer issue, for 40000 did not feel any issue at driving or startIng engine. Case closed:-)
