Conti Road Attack 3 - does anyone use them?

    Hi everyone,

It’s time for me to think about new pair of boots for my CT. I’m looking for road oriented sports touring tires. I know all the hype on Michelin’s PR5s, but I’m not convinced about them and after solid research, I have chosen Continental Road Attack 3.
So to the point. Anyone used them on CT? What’s the overall performance, mileage etc.?

    Best regards,
    Lucas

    Hi Lucas,
I have not used them, they are not stocked / available this side of the world. Is it price that attracted you to them? What about Metzeler 01 ?  Interested to hear about the road attack 3 when you fit them.

    Tom

I used them on a trip to Alaska last year. I found them great handling tires. They also wore well, especially the front.

I did around 6700 km on the rear Conti. I could have done more but I changed the tire when I had an opportunity. I put over 20,000 km on the front. When I replaced it, it still had life left but was scalloping real bad. I really love the handling (on any paved surface). I only rode approximately 200 km on gravel roads and it was ok.
I'd certainly would buy them again.

Why the feck have all the lads stopped doing Continental ???

I was trying to get sorted with a pair of Trail Attack III last month and I would have found the secret of fatima easier!!
