A member on another forum is having a unique problem on his 2014 CTX DCT. Bike is holding its gear, ignoring the rev limiter hitting 8k, then shifting. Not tripping the MT switch. New battery, low miles, was possibly intermittent is now persistent. Has not yet done DCT initialization. Able to roll through gears in manual mode...not sure if rev issue prsents. Anyhow, here is the thread. If you have any advice I can paste it from here. My wife rides a CTX. Good forum over there by the way. I recommended battery voltage and cable check, DCT initialization, and possibly a shifter motor/shaft in the DCT box. Sprocket appears to be original too. Thanks.
