Hi all   :784:  looking for a bit of assistance. I bust my side stand switch and have got a replacement but having a hard time accessing were it plugs into the loom. I’ve got the side panels off and the tank up but still can’t seem to get to it. Is there something I’m missing.

So it means you have a new one?
That means that you know how long the cable is on the switch, just following the cable of the old one and then you should automagically find the connection after that distance.

    Edit:
In the exploded view you can also see roughly how the placement is of the parts en how cables run.

Hi thanks I’ve got the existing cable and been following it but it seems to go into a block behind the frame and without major effort I can’t see a way in.

Thanks yip that's were it disappears it looks like the connection is behind the frame but can't find a way in. Might have to resort to cutting the wires and splicing the new cable to the old one.

You might have to take off the left side panel/fairing but that is way better than splicing a cable.

Got there eventually. It hides tight behind the frame and you have to prise the hoses out of the way. I could just manage to get my finger tip to the release catch and my fingers were just long enough to push the new one in. Had to do this blind.
