Can you let me know the level of improvement the de-cat gives and what is the Z Bomb ??

You can DM me if you don't want to clog up your thread.

    Cheers,
    Keith

    Hi Keith,

I haven't really noticed any improvement power wise once de-cated. Sound changed dramatically as it's really muffled with OEM system.
Bazzaz Z Bomb is sneaky little device that tricks ECU into thinking the it's in 3rd gear for the first 2 gears- say you're in first gear but the dash shows 3rd, if you're in 2nd gear dash shows 3rd and then it's back to normal once you shift to 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th. ECU restricts power in first 2 gears so once fitted you can really feel the difference, I particularly liked 2nd gear pull it's lethal!
    Thanks for your interest,
    Ged

it basically fools ECU into thinking outside temperature is cooler and fuel to air ratio is increased. I had decat pipes fitted and K&N air filter so it made improvement to low rpm throttle  plus there was far less pops and bangs out of exhaust

Hi,thanks for the reply. There seem to be 3 units listed on the BoosterPlug website, I'm just trying to make sure it's the correct unit for my 2015 bike. If the unit is off your bike, could you let me know the model number or let me know is your bike 2012/13 or 2014/15

    Cheers,
    Keith
